Among a host of open discuciones on Cuba and its future highlight the civil liberties of all claims. It talks about freedom of speech and press, freedom of movement, talking about freedom of association and economic freedom but little is said, however, the new state to be one day soon supplant the absurd political and administrative machinery that governs our nation.
From the perspective of Democratic state "classic" that currently dominates worldwide, this is based primarily on the multi-party election that after regular consultations determine the head of state and proportional representation quotas of the various parties, according to final results in the legislature, be it Parliament , Assembly or House of Representatives. In each country, including the Electoral Act regulates multifarious scheme with point solutions while there, until now, a democratic state that design is not mainly based on the pillars of a multiparty system.
The reality of Cuban society after half a century of overwhelming one-man dictatorship Fidel Castro (hereafter FC) is terribly troubling to addressing the issue of a transitional form of government in Cuba. FC did not find his own way during the first 14 turbulent years of revolution and after multiple fracazos with various administrative schemes devised (always from the base of a single patido government) had to finally succumb to pressure from the USSR was in 1974 , called the Year of institutionalization, when he decided to copy the structure of government of the late Soviet and socialist camp, which basically prevails to this day, without any progress has meant to the country. Quite the contrary since the integration of CAME country strengthened the dependency of our economy to inefficient socialist bloc, curtailing the national initiative, becoming heavily indebted by single sugar and the state, primarily with the Soviet Union.
Cuban society today is largely apolitical increasingly, people do not want to know the Communist Party does not believe in government officials, who sees as mere transmission belts of an intangible "higher authority", without autonomy no power of decision. Not even want to know (and fear repressive mechanisms included) or leaders or internal opposition movement, much less foreign. It is simply a godless people, skeptical, deeply depressed. Moreover, the intense bombardment, for many years, negative information about the ineffectiveness and corruption of certain Latin American governments and fundamentally malicious disclosure of any negative event that occurs within the U.S. government has contributed to political apathy experience the Cuban people. After half a century
manipulating several generations, the sordid social experiment that has been the so-called revolution has brought about a town that is now an amorphous mass, timid and withdrawn to any genuine initiative, impossible generated in psychologically damaged individuals and the vast majority are motivated only by the springs of a double standard. The simulation is sadly part of normal behavior in a sick society.
